One in eight motorists are uninsured in the U.S. (13 percent). Uninsured rates among subprime portfolios rate approximately 35-40 percent; among prime, 15-20 percent. These are significant numbers. Many lenders to not currently have a cost-effective solution for ensuring collateral protection. Additionally, many lenders are not maximizing claims recoveries or accurately forecasting data losses. There is a trend toward data-driven solutions that provide increased analytics and enable improved borrower outreach strategies.
