Ed Berkowitz is the Vice President of Product Management for the Manheim digital marketplace, including Manheim.com, OVE, Simulcast, and more. Based in Silicon Valley, Ed manages vision, strategy and execution of the digital marketplace, vehicle portfolio management solution as well as the performance optimization which together, enables clients to achieve increased remarketing efficiency while maximizing portfolio values.
Prior to joining Cox Automotive, Ed held senior roles in the software field within the automotive and financial sectors, most recently serving as Vice President of Product Management for ADESA and OPENLANE. Previous roles also include broad Engineering and Operations responsibilities at RES Finance, Closedloop Solutions, Greenlight.com, Silicon Graphics, and Travelers Insurance Companies. Ed is known as a sharp analytical thinker, an innovative designer and developer of new business models – which has resulted in multiple patents.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Computer Coordinate from Trinity College. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
